Each round, the actual performance of each of your starting 11 players - as recorded in the official match results recorded on My Cricket - will contribute points to your team total. You'll face the challenge of dealing with injuries, unavailability and loss of form.
You'll be able to make up to 3 trades each round, and how you use these will have a major impact on your success. Full results, detailed statistics, and other information will appear online by 8:00 am the Monday morning of the completion of each round.
While success will earn you bragging rights over friends and colleagues, you'll also be in the running for a great prize. The highest-scoring Super Dream Team at the end of the season will receive a gift voucher equivalent to the prize pool contributed by the club. $2.50 of each junior registration and $5 of every senior registration will go into the prize pool.
Your cricket registration therefore entitles you to one registration in the competition. As a fundraiser for the club you and or family and friends can purchase additional entries at the rate of $10 per adult or $5 per child with half of the entry fee going to the club and the other half going into the end of season prize pool.
To play and be eligible for prizes, you must register. It's important to read the game rules and terms and conditions before you do this.We take great care to protect your privacy and personal details. Our privacy and security policy is available by clicking the privacy tab on this page.
Only ONE registration is allowed per registered AHCC player. Multiple entries (with different Email addresses) may be made at the cost of $10 per senior and $5 per junior per additional entry. This means that all your families and friends can participate and monitor your performance.

Q: I have a new email address. Can you change my login details?
A: You can change your login email by sending an Email to the Avondale Heights Cricket Club. The Club will then confirm the validity of the request by contacting the registrant directly.
Q: Can I change the name of my team?
A: No. Your team name is a unique identifier in the game, and cannot be changed.
On registration you will be given a ‘dummy’ team which you will need to amend.
Note: Failure to amend the dummy team will result in no points as the dummy team does not consist of actual players.
You select and trade your team by selecting the “Select Team” option from the Super Dream Team menu in your “Control Centre”. Make sure you trade all your dummy positions before the season commences.
There are unlimited trades before the season commences so you will be able to fine tune your squad within the salary cap as many times as you like. Once the season commences you will be limited to 3 trades per round.
All trades must be within the official salary cap. You'll also find links within the Super Dream Team Menu at the top of the Dream Team Pages for the Ladder, Form Guide, Rules and Logout pages. These links will appear at the top of each page in the game, allowing you to quickly jump to any section of the Super Dream Team site.
Your Super Dream team Control Centre will also carry a summary of your score, and any important game announcements.
You must select your squad based on the player limits for each team;
4 x Senior Players
2 x Under 16 Players
2 x Under 14 Players
2 x Under 12 Players
2 x Under 10 Players
You'll need to select your team within the $1,400,000 salary cap. Your first task is to select a squad of 12 players who will carry your hopes for season 2010-11. Remember, you MUST have 12 players in your squad before each round in order to score points. Choosing your squad is easy, but you need to stay within your $1.4 million salary cap.
Each player has a price and it's up to you to decide how you'll spend your player budget. Your squad also needs to include the right number of players from each squad. If you exceed your salary cap or choose the wrong number of positions, don't worry. Super Dream Team will not let you select a player who exceeds the squad type or the salary cap.
If you try to trade outside the limits, you will not see any players to select. If you see no players to select simply select the return button to continue selections within the allowed parameters. When you're choosing a team for the upcoming round, you need to choose a starting 11 from your 12 player squad. You also need to choose a 12th Man. The 12th Man (provided he plays) will replace a player from your starting 11 who does not play for the club in the given round.
You will also be able to select your team captain, who will add double points towards your team score. If the 12th man is replaces your captain, the 12th Man will score double points for you in that round.
Selecting your squad f.a.q.
Q: Why do I have to choose a set number of Senior and Junior players?A: The aim of the competition is to promote an interest in the playing performance of all players within the club. It is therefore essential that players are selected from each of the age groups within the club.
Q: How many players do I need in my squad?
A: Only teams with a full squad of 12 players will earn points. Each round you select 11 players for your starting line-up. You also select 1 12th man to cover a late omissions from your 11. You can make changes to your team at any time prior to the first match of a round. If you choose to leave your team untouched between rounds, the same 11 players will compete for your AHCC Super Dream Team.
Q: How do I find a particular player?
A: The club will ensure that every registered player is available for selection. If you can't find someone, try using the Form Guide to search for the player. If you still can't find them, please contact us and we'll investigate.
You can make unlimited trades on registration up until the first round of the season, then 3 per round for the remainder of the Season.
Select a 12th man to replace any absent player in your starting line-up. Also don’t forget to name your captain each round.
Like all coaches, you'll have to deal with injuries and loss of form in your 12-man squad. While you can deal with some setbacks by skilful selection of your starting 11, you'll probably want to trade players to freshen-up your squad or snare a rising star before he becomes too expensive.
TRADES
You can make unlimited trades on your initial team entry. Your team will be locked in and entered at the start of the next upcoming round. You'll then be able to trade up to THREE players on the conclusion of each round. It's entirely your decision as to when and how you use them. Be sure to choose carefully, as all changes are FINAL and cannot be reversed. Player trades will not be transferable from one round to the next - you can only make a maximum of 3 TRADES per round.Unused trades in a round will lapse and do not carry forward to subsequent rounds. Therefore you will only be able to make a maximum of 3 trades in any round. Trading periods will generally be open for the entire week, up until the start of the next round's games. To trade a player select the relevant radio button next to the player you wish to trade. This will then calculate the amount of money you will have available for the trade. Follow the on screen prompts from there to complete the trade.
CAPTAIN
Your captain scores double points. You select your captain by clicking the relevant radio button next to the player you want to select and then follow the screen prompts that appear to complete the nomination. You can change your captain as often as you like prior to the start of each round. 12th MAN Your 12th man will replace any absent player in your starting 11 provided the 12th man plays in the round. Click the relevant radio button next to the player you wish to make 12th man and then follow the screen prompts to complete the nomination.PLAYER SALARIES
The price of players will vary according to how they've been playing, so the cut-price new player having a stellar season will quickly become more expensive. On the other hand, a top player in a form slump will become cheaper the longer his form stays down. Should you buy him on the cheap trusting that his form will improve? It's up to you.TRADING SQUAD MEMBERS F.A.Q.
Q: Why do some teams have a bigger salary cap or overall value than mine?A: As the season progresses, the value of the players in each Super Dream Team squad will change according to their real life performances. Some players will become more expensive, some will cost less. These changing amounts will be reflected in the overall value of each Super Dream Team team. That's why it may seem that some teams have exceeded the salary cap.
Q: One of my squad has been injured, is in a form slump or omitted from his team. Can I buy another player?
A: Yes. You can make up to 3 trades each round. You'll need to replace the player you're trading with a player from the same squad (Senior, Under 16, Under 14 etc.) and you'll also need to be sure you can afford the new player. But don't worry - Super Dream Team will let you know if your trade would break the rules.
Your selected captain scores double points;
Points are awarded based on the official AHCC player performances as recorded on My Cricket.
Your AHCC Super Dream Team will score points according to the real-life performances of your selected players during the season.
Only your starting line-up of 11 will earn points for your side. If any of them are unable to play, your 12th man will be brought into the line-up. If a member of the starting 11 can't play and the 12th man is already covering for another omitted member, you'll get zero points for that player.
The points system acknowledges all contributions made by players during the match.
By using more than 26 different stats categories, final player rankings are the most accurate way to determine how effective a player has been.
The main ways for your starting 11 to earn points for your Super Dream Team are listed below.
Remember, not all of your players will score points for your team. First, your squad must have 12 AHCC registered players in order for your team to score points.
Second, a player may put in a shocker and it is possible for him to score negative points.
Third, the player may have been omitted from their real-life team or was injured and unable to play. In many cases, this player will be replaced by your 12th Man, however a zero-scoring player who is actually named and in the starting 22 will not be replaced by the 12th Man (and a zero score or negative will have an impact on their value). Finally, if the 12th man is not required he will score zero for a particular round.
