VTCA Announce Draft Divisional Structure
July 20, 2011The VTCA has eleven new Clubs from the Moreland Moonee Valley CA.
As a result North B has been divided geographically, and a new Division (West B) has been created to run side by side with North B.
To enable the new structure to reflect a more accurate balance of club strengths in North A, North B and West B, a change to promotion and relegation procedures will be implemented for Seasons 2011/12 and 2012/13.
- Grand finalists North A – promoted to North
- Bottom 4 teams in North A – relegated to either North B or West B
- Grand finalists in North B and West B – promoted to North A
With Keilor and Essendon Grammarians being relegated and Youlden Parkville moving back to the North, the North Division will increase from 10 teams to 12 teams.
