l
Raheel Hussain capped off a tough year by taking home the Markham Medal for the best player in the first and second XI's.
Raheel, who took on the captaincy of our young developing squad was a worthy winner of this award.
Congratulations and thanks Raheel for performing as well as you did under difficult but exciting conditions.
Stefan Zivanic Takes out the Shellie Medal
Stefan Zivanic took out the 2009-10 Shellie Medal with the last vote of the season to pip Michael Nikoloski by 1 vote.
Stefan had a stellar year making 353 runs with 5 half centuries.
He also took a number of wickets to earn the tag of Champion player in the junior section.
Michael Nikoloski also had a stand out year making 280 runs in the under 10's. No mean feat when he has to retire at 20. Unfortunately Michael didn't get a lot of runs in the last match and this allowed Stefan to take the award by the one vote.
Jacob Cutri finished the season strongly and finished in 3rd place.
Congratulations to Stefan and all the boys who played this season.
